27 months today!
27 months today!
And I was a chronic relapser who often thought I was doomed to drink myself to death. If I can do it, anyone can.... anyone who wants it badly enough.
It helps me very much to be grateful, to count my blessings each day. I start each day being grateful to wake up sober and surrounded by my loving dogs. I go to bed grateful for a sober day and surrounded by my dogs. It really helps my attitude to be thankful.
It would have been a much more difficult (not to mention lonely) journey if it hadn't been for the members here and my teriffic counselor. I am grateful to her and to all of you.
Onward and upward!

SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! AND YOUR DOGGIES!
Your example has been important to me many many times when you talk about how important your pets are to you. Wanting to be a great dog pawrent every day is one of the inspiring reasons I stay sober.
