It’s been awhile since Ive wanted to say anything about you. I’m better, I will never be the same though, you took things from me that I never knew I even had. I didn’t think you were such a coward. I really believed you were stronger, that you loved me like you said. I really believed it. I don’t feel stupid for holding on like I did, just goes to show that I was and am such a dedicated and committed person. I never went back on my words, I always held up my ends. As much as you would like to believe that you had less responsibility then you did. Instead of you I went to rehab, instead of you I listened to the self help stuff, so committed to you and hoping you wouldn’t let us down. You did. I’m okay, not the same as I used to be. Traumatized but strong, that never changed.

Sometimes it's good to look back in retrospect and learn from the past, it helps us move forward into better days ahead a little wiser for the lessons.
