Danger of detox reminder

Just found out a friend of mine tried to detox and had a seizure today. Dont know the details yet myself or his status just know he got hospitalized earlier. Scary stuff. Ive never known anybody that had this happen to them. Brought the reality of the dangers of drinking right to my doorstep when I heard the news. Just had to write about it here as a reminder to others and gettin it out and off my chest. Thanks for letting me.

Condolences on your loss.

Remember, you don't have to drink daily to have a seizure from withdrawal. Everybody is different. Not all doctors understand this.
