Rejag - It's great to have you here. I know just how you feel, about the blood itching thing. Everything will get better as you heal - it's rough the first few days, but it will all settle down.
It's hard when all your friends are drinkers. Maybe you could consider going to AA meetings - or finding another recovery program. We're glad you joined - you aren't alone anymore.

Rejag, As hevyn says them bad feelings do stop, just fight it, dont think having a few to make it stop will help, it will just prolong it and u will be bk to square 1. Stick around here and read plenty, u will find a lot of us in same boat fighting this ****** booze demon.
AA was not much for me either but its brill for a lot, u need to try it so U can decide. I'm just trying to get it into my thick head that i cant handle it, so its just best if i dont jsut touch one drink. Good luck

Yeah the mood swings are hard....I hope you'll feel less vuinerable soon.
I actually meant support like a recovery group (AA SMART etc) - some people find that can help to to make this process easier...

Welcome REJAG -
Hang in there.....(If it gets bad, get to a doctor). The mood swings aren't fun, but coming here and reading is a great distraction and kept me motivated when I was just trying to get through the next hour or two.....
The good news is that it gets a whole lot better from here!
