Letting go of the past
is how I am getting a
inner healing.

The things I have done
and the things that has
been done to me.

I have made restitution
the best that I can. And
the ones that have past on
is out of my control.

I gave a lot up just to
get high; I was imprisoned
by addiction that was my
choice.

I was a angry man for a lot of
years and held onto that
anger in my first two years
of my recovery.

On 1/12/08 I had a Spiritual
awaking that took the craving
away to get high.

But my first year deep inside
I didn't like myself it took time
to adjust walking a daily life
not high and not liking myself.

I had to learn to adjust walking
around with out a crutch.

But over the first year going to
meeting and telling on myself
how I felt about myself. I learned
it isn't uncommon for a addict
not to like themselves. I had to
learn to love myself and except
the things I can not change.

My past is history the only
thing I can change is how I
am today.
