Well I fell off
Haven't been getting drunk but have been drinking. I don't know if I'm ready yet. I'll have to take a break from SR but I will be back when I'm ready to be sober. Lots of love and luck to you all.
Rise. I do feel very sad that I couldn't do it and that I don't have a f2f group yet to help.

Why not stay here?
You're better off being here than out there, Rise.
SR does mess with your buzz - but maybe that's a good thing?
Maybe it's time to stop letting your addiction call the shots?
you could decide you're ready now

Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings in Brooklyn
I'm trying to do this but it's relly hard when your partner is pounding beers at home! What do you do then?
You wrote this in a previous post...if you're serious about recovery, perhaps you should leave. Can't be easy coming home to that.

No reason to leave here.
And no reason you can't find a face to face group to attend, even if you are still drinking. It can help you, possibly, later on when you do decide to quit. Try not spending your whole day drinking it away. Life is too short for that.
Stick around!

I can attest to that I've been high on this website before

Rise, I understand feeling like you can't hang around here if you've been drinking. I've found in the past month that it is much better checking in here even if I haven't abstained from alcohol. Reading about other people's struggles and successes has given me a lot of motivation for my own journey toward sobriety.
Whatever you decide, there are lots of people here rooting for you!
