day 4 c/t codeine - would love some encouragement
Hi all. I'm heading into day 5 of a c/t detox. I was clean for nearly 2 yrs, thanks to rehab but relapsed for 3 months. I am determined to pull myself out of this hole. I've been taking about 800mg of codeine per day in the form of nurofen plus . Last night was awful but walked 5 km this arvo and feel ok. Nausea and insomnia the worst. I'm still going to work because i can't be alone with my head. I so nearly stopped at the pharmacy tonight. So glad i didn't. I can't go through this again. I just hope my insides recover ok. I'm going to try and sleep now (no RLS which is good. I just need some encouragement and validation please....

Hey, tupps. I just saw your post here. Detox off opiates--I have been there. Too many times. Last time was about three years ago. I struggled with alcohol for a little while after that, then put that down too. Sober now just over two years.
You don't have to go through it again. And life works without opiates. Works much better, in fact.
