We are all fighters here....

I can't sleep and I have to be up in 5 hours to run a half marathon. Too much excitement. This is what living is about. It is not about getting trashed on a Saturday night. BAH!

Anyways, maybe if I release some thoughts, my head will calm down.

Believe it or not, we are all heroes here. We are fighting the good fight. Many other people each day are in the same shoes and they do not realize it. As we continue to succeed, we will inspire, and may save another's life. One day....two day....three day. Each day is a little victory, a little deposit in the bank, which will grow bigger and faster than any investment you ever make. If you give in, and withdraw from the bank, do not fret for it will always be there, and it doesn't mean you've gone bankrupt.

Keep battling. If you signed up to this forum, please visit whenever you can. Do you have a work dinner party coming up and feel it will be weird if you just drink water, juice or a soda? Come here, join the chat, read some posts, to arm yourself with weapons to battle the best. Each and everyone one of us have big and small battles to face, and we are all here for each other. You have an army behind you. Stay strong friends!

"If you aren't weird, I don't want to know you." If you aren't weird, you must follow everyone else's rules.

Agreed. I don't drink...so what? I'll boogie down just as much as you and your friends, for less money, less embarrassment, less headaches, less calories, less organ damage, and more prestige.

Part of the battle is finding you are again. It some respect, it is finding that inner child again, who didn't need alcohol to speak his/her mind, to dance around without a care in the world, to wake up each day excited for the possibilities.

A mighty oak tree started out as a nut that stood its ground.

God bless.
