It is time.
I am invovled with an Alcoholic. He is now in recovery. It is difficult for me to trust him. There were lies and cover ups about his drinking. I am having a hard time getting over this. I sometimes feel like he is still lying to me. How do I get over this. I have been to meetings but I have not been latley. I am feeling the pull to make myself better with this program as my guide. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome Redcoat
My suggestion would be to keep going to meetings and working this program. It is all about US and it truly helps us every day, regardless of how our A's are doing. It also teaches is how to get rid of the resentments you mention, through forgiveness and that is a huge step that moves us forward.
I'm happy you have joined us here, and hope you will keep posting and travelling this road with us.
Hugs

Get back to meetings.........
Trust is really a spiritual issue. If I trust my higher power, then I'm never afraid with people. I trust I'll take care of myself because I'm tuned in.
Trust your higher power. Let people be people.
