5 months

I just realized it's been five months without drinking. I gotta run to work but just wanted to pop in and thank everyone for their stories and postings, it's been very helpfull. Thanks!

Thanks everyone! It feels to feel good, much better than being blitz for a few hours per night then feelin krappy most of the next day. hey i was checking out post acute withdrawal on wikipedia the other night, it was pretty interesting. (i guess i'm not really ocd, something else tho i'm sure)

Congratulations, Dan! It just keeps getting better! That would be good if you aren't ocd - when I got sober I discovered several mental problems that I thought I had were actually just problems caused by ingesting so much alcohol, and dealing with the problems I created by being a drunk. (Unfortunately not all my mental problems, but several!) Take care and keep going.
