Woke up sober reaonably sane knowing where I was who I was not sure why I was but it really beat the alternative. It really does get better. Think I'll keep trying it. You all take care

Good job!!!! I felt the same for the past 12 days. Today i had a really bad day at work and wanted to get wasted reallllly bad, was invited out for drinks and just said "no i can't, i had a bad day and really want to drink. Best for me to go home." And it was ok! Thanks everyone on here for your honesty and support. xo

Awesome post Fitz. Waking up sober is pretty great.

12 days here and slept for full 8 hours (insomnia since quit booze) for first time, literally bounced out of bed when I woke up!
