I agree w Fandy. Alcohol is a depressant. Crack is a stimulant. I'd be afraid of a heart attack. You may be afraid too... And you took Librium on top of that, which may have amplified effects.

I'd be afraid to take the librium. I once took a Xanax after drinking and felt way worse. That's just me

Call your doctor then. we can't help you from here, and you know we cant give medical advice. you need some real professional help from a physician.

Whoa AloneAlot... I hope the rest of your morning went okay... I hope you got to fall asleep peacefully and not pass out. Actually, I hope you did make it to the ER.
Let us know how you're doing today when you get a moment.
Thinking about you.

Hi AloneALot

I tend to agree with the others.

I wouldn't take anything else myself - and I'd think very strongly about asking your questions of a qualified professional.

I think we get to an age where we probably should get ourselves checked out if we mess with stuff like crack.

At the very least you can set your mind at ease that way?

You are just having a Crack attack. Give yourself some time and should be OK. I have smoked a boat load of Crack and I am still kicking. Do it long enough and you could end up DOA. I hope you are OK. logo

You're dealing with a chemically enhanced drug (crack is cocaine mixed with other things). The answers to your questions depend on your body. Not really answerable questions. Give yourself 3 days and the coke will be out of your system. It may take another 7 years for your brain to heal from the crack.

If you are 56 you are way too old too be experimenting with crack. It is extremely dangerous mixing cocaine with booze. Go to the ER to be on the safe side.

Yes they did. They said "Go to the ER"

And I suggest A.A. meetings after that.

Wishing you the best.
