Not to be a baby, but I've read that alcohol elevates estrogen levels. I noticed before that my cravings would peak at certain times of the month.
Girls, do you know what I'm talking about??
Having a bad mental day. I was doing so well. On day 22 sober. I know this will pass.
Just want to cry or scream. So irritable & I know it's compounded by many factors. Just wanted to vent.
Not saying its easier for men, but I hate the ups & downs that come w/ womanhood.

Yep. No easy way around it, either. Soaking in the bath with chocolate and a good book helps me. I know it sounds kind of flip or whatever. Just do something nice for yourself. My monthly visits are the one scenario I reckon that avoiding my feelings is the best thing to do.

Firstly, congratulation on day 22. You are doing so well. Just focus on the fact that you are not drinking, that is the most important thing in the world.

Its not easy to cope with feeling sometimes, but those time will pass. And happy times will come.

I second the bath & book remedy. Hormones are a bitch and I hope you feel better soon. Congrats on your 22nd day! Not to be nasty, but alcohol is a blood thinner & it makes 'it' worse (sorry fellas if i grossed you out)
