Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Chris and I am a recovering addict/alcoholic. My sobriety date is 7-17-11 (which also happens to be my belly button birthday - always said I wanted a sobriety date I could never forget!)
Glad to have found this and I have so many things to share about my own personal journey through addiction, having experienced the cycle of relapse/recovery. I believe strongly that recovery is progressive, just like addiction - so none of our clean/sober time is ever wasted, provided we learn a day at a time from our past, remain humble/teachable, and help others.

Welcome, and congratulations on your sobriety! I agree that recovery is progressive, for sure. I'm only on Day 31, but so many changes have taken place in my life and all for the better. I too am looking forward to a much happier life and enjoying my sober time ... one day at a time.
Good to have you here.
