Wow!!! 30 Days!!! :D
Well, I made it through the first 30 days. I honestly can't believe it, but I am so very happy. Although I've tried and failed to get sober many times over the last five years (3 times just over the past year), this is the longest I've made it.
I credit much of my success that I've found here at SR, and just wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you. The encouragement and support here is phenomenal, and all of your stories have really resonated with me and helped me to realize that I'm not alone on this journey. That has made all the difference this time around ... my LAST time around.
Love to you all, and thank you so very much for the love and support. It's gonna be a great day.

Way to go desertsong!! You too FlyerFan! Keep on keepin on ownmybehavior! Keep putting one foot in front of the other, a day at a time..it gets easier and better as time goes on!

What an awesome day. Picked up my 30 day chip at AA today and there was such love and support in the room. Longest 30 days of my life, but so worth how I'm feeling right now. Thanks to all of you for the wellwishes! I feel great!

Congrats Desertsong!!! I am at 30 days as well, and feel fabulous! Let's stay with this for the long haul, all of us together. We all deserve to live to our full potential, a life we can surely make for ourselves as long as we never pick up.
I also thank each and everyone of you for taking me in and making me feel like I am not alone on this journey...The support here is a powerful, miraculous thing!
