Taws

Today is my 9th day sober and really the first time that I've had a craving for booze. I went to the store to pick up some dinner and soda for tonight and was really tempted to hit the liquor aisle. I talked myself out of it, remembering that it'd start off with a bottle, but one would turn into another...and another...and another...and there's no way I'm going back down that path. I'm feeling really good today and I'm proud of myself for not giving in. Occupied my morning by running 9 miles (I'm training for a half marathon) and then went to work for a few hours.

Anyway, just wanted to share to keep myself sane. Hope everyone else is doing well and having a great evening!
