It's strange because I never realized in my dis-ease how I did neither. It's not always comfortable but I think it's being human again. Being drunk was simple being sober is complex, I guess I choose the latter. Peace

Hey Fitz...Yeah, the feelings and thoughts aren't always fun. Probably my favorite and least favorite part of sobriety, depending. Hang in there.

Oh yea, it is the 'feelings' and 'emotions' that can get us into the most 'trouble' in early recovery.

That is why I always suggest, no matter what 'program' one decides to use to get a:

mentor

or

sponsor

or

guide

or

whatever you want to call them,

but ......................... someone who has been where we are now and can 'guide' us.
