My life used to be so unatural.
Ahhh good morning on a rain Jan. 12 here in Cleveland Ohio. But, I lovely morning none the less. As I read and meditate this morning my anxiety is high for I have a doctors appointment tonight. I am so worried because I have not seen a doctor outside been hospitalized for alcohol abuse. Now am getting a whole check up. But it needs to be done.
The long I am in AA the more and more natural this life of sobriety is seems. I old drinking life was a very unnatural way of living. My present sober way of living couldnt be more natural way of life now. During the early days of my drinking career , my life wasnt to drastically different from most other lives. But, as I become a long time problem drinker my life became anything but natural. To only search and worry about the drink.
Today I say thank you to my Higher Power for everything , even the seeming trail and worries for today. I will strive to be grateful and humble. As I said I am learning over in the last couple threads. My whole attitude toward my higher power will be one of gratitude. I am and will be grateful to the things I receive, and will pass it on. And I believe that more truths will flow in, as I continue to go on this wonderful new way of life.
For todays meditation and prayer I pray for , to be grateful for the things I receive and so do not deserve. And I pray that this gratitude will make me truly humble.

Okay well its time, getting ready to leave for the trip to the doctor.
Cant wait to be home .
But had a nice day made some dinner do I will have it to just heat up when I get home. Cordon Bleu with saffron rice(opotival's decision. ) . And read and then cleaned.
