Checking In

I've been AWOL for a few days. Had a flu bug that kept me... preoccupied, lol.

Doing okay, though I didn't make my regular meeting nor my treatment goal of attending a new meeting so it looks like that will be on my To Do list for next week.

Winter finally arrived and with the wind whipping in from the north at up to 45 MPH it feels like it's below 0. I've stayed inside and kept busy with art projects.

Now to get caught up on reading the boards!

Flamingredhair in the frozen tundra...

I have an album here on the boards. Should be easy to find as there aren't many. I've done around 75 pieces or so since 2008 though I only have four images posted as they are my most recent projects.

Hey Red. I'm in the midwest too. The snow is horizontal and sometimes going back up!

Can't wait till spring.

God bless.

We secretly want your weather all the way down here in Melbourne...we just get cold and rain, no snow, no skiing!

Great hearing from you FRH - sorry you've been sick.

Alaska has 15 feet of snow I heard? Here in the Catskills they're saying we have a 'snow drought'. It's killing the skiing biz, plus snowmobiling and other stuff. Some of the places make their own snow but it doesn't seem the same.

Hi FRH
We got lucky so far as snow - only a dusting. But it's BITTER COLD and windy. Comfort food and hot coffee.
