Made my boyfriend move out yesterday
Well I'm not feeling much serenity right now.
My boyfriend chose to take amphetamines,so he had to go.
My sponsor wants me to come up with 2 positive things that came out of this.I guess 1.He may realize that I'm serious about my recovery. 2. I'm going to have to make some hard choices to stay clean & sober;but this still sucks!!!

Ditto from me, Zorilla. You did exactly what you needed to do to protect yourself. Can I add 1a? That he'll see that you are serious about your recovery and may figure out that he needs to be too.
Hope it works out that way, but, if not, there is a whole sea of fish out there.
Keep postin!

I used to do meth amphetamines back in the 70's.
It is the devil drug. Hopefully your friend will see this soon and stop playing with it. Nothing good can come from that.
I am also sorry that you have to go through all this.
Stay strong and as always remain positive.

I am SUPER proud of you!! I know that must have been really hard and my heart goes out to both of you. I hope he finds the courage to get sober and I hope you find the courage to stay sober! Sounds like you are on the right path! Keep it up!
I'm so sorry - that must have been a sad conversation indeed.
But here are 2 more good things to come out of it:
1. You aren't enabling him in this very dangerous behavior. And
2. You now know you have a great sponsor!! I like the way they think.
Take care of yourself today and stay healthy.

That was a really tough decision to make but I believe that you made the correct choice.
In recovery we need to make some selfish decisions as it can be the difference between life and death.
I could not live with someone who is using as it would be too tempting.
