Day 3 - Knowing an ice cold beer would be a BAD IDEA
Fighting the craving. Feeling whiny.
On the plus side, I had my hair done today and it is fabulously flaming again.
Wishing I was "normal" does no good so I'm trying not to bother.

We can get through this .
Glad you have had your hair done , it helps to do nice things for ourselfs.
What is normal anyway? We are all different , it makes for a less boring world to live in .

On the 10th I'll be 1 year 6 months sober and I still fight the cravings to. Congrats on 3 days, before you know it, it'll be 30 days. Normal for me was being an addict. Being sober is better than "normal".

I just poured out a collector bottle of wine. I was saving it because it's in a really cool bright red cat-shaped bottle but the bottle will look just as good on the mantle EMPTY.
You hang in there too. It's nice to know I'm not alone.

Christmas day I rid my house and shed of christmas drink . It was hard to do but i kind of enjoyed watching it all go down the sink!
Here any time .
P.s you could still keep the empty bottle being its so cool though...

You are normal. I mean in the big picture is not drinking booze so big a deal that not doing so renders you abnormal?
Nah...and in time our perspective gets focused on reality and we can see that clearly. I can't do caffeine...still don't define myself as abnormal. Allergic to lettuce...still refuse the label abnormal. I think raspberries are gross, even though the rest of the world drools at the very mention...

Good for you going to the hairdressers, doing something that makes you feel good besides having a drink. Reminds me I must go and have a manicure and pedicure. I hate going, it takes so long, I could be doing something else but my nails would put a brickie's labourer to shame.
