Today has been hard

I haven't had really a whole lot of energy since I've been sober and clean(41 days). This week has been better mentally until today. I am a cranky s.o.b.. I have only made diet changes and been exercising for a few days. I know this will take time. I made an appointment with my family doc for monday morning. Going to get some blood work and a physical to rule anything out there.

I just can't wait for my energy levels to stabilize. I feel like a zombie most of the time, and my passion for things is just not there anymore.

This really sucks.

God bless.

Also, the chasm I have created between my wife and I is really weighing on my mind. I am really craving that closeness and she doesn't want anything to do with it right now. She says it will take a long time for that to come around. I don't blame her, but it still sucks.

Thanks for listening to my pity party.

God bless.

When I quit drinking about 3 years ago I came here because of an ultimatum from my wife to either quit drinking or get out. I complied with her conditions BUT it did take months for the closeness to return. I went through the same thing with loss of energy and moodiness so hang in there.
The energy will return as will the affection you crave from your wife.
Keep on keeping on and remember to always stay positive.

Got to a good meeting tonight and had a good talk with my sponser. Sometimes my perspective is just way off and I tend to be my own worst enemy. Anyway, I am feeling much better than I was earlier today. Thank you all.

God bless.

30-90 days can mess with ya. Stick close to your sponsor, network, & program; your efforts will pay off for the better!
