For me it is. Our emotions are all over the place and we are feeling them with complete clarity, without the fog of alcohol.

My sponsor says 'normal' is a setting on a washing machine!!!

I hear you...I am feeling the exact same way. I am trying to avoid everyone. Might call it an early night before I fly off the handle. :/

Yes - felt that more in the first few weeks but it flares up every once and awhile. Hang in there

I think it's normal - both for this time of year and for early recovery

Well, I guess I just need to try and stay away from the family until it passes, then.

Ugh.

I felt that way for a few months - but it all faded away. Be patient with yourself.

I've been feeling the same way Red. Hits me out of nowhere. I finally started exercising today and it helped tremendously. Hope you feel better soon.
God bless.

I've been extremely negative all weekend but finally went to a yoga class tonight for the first time in months and months. I feel...more even-tempered now. Less wound up.

So I second the advice to exercise. Helped me.
