So I'm A Idiot
I said the New Year wouldn't get to me but it did so I made paper hats for my pup and me and we did a chew and some cashews (with sweets). He ate his hat. Happy New to all my friends.

Ha! I bought some treats for my 2 dogs and 4 cats.....they are all either right by me or around my feet.....do they love me or love food? Both, I am sure.
I am going to be happy tomorrow that I didn't go out tonight and stayed home drinking chai and being with my animals. I know I won't get a dui, I won't call or send emails that defy explanation, etc. The TV is on - Saturday Night Fever!!! I haven't seen that in forever. I can watch it as long as I do something else with it. I want to start a list of goals (not resolutions, eeeks) for 2012. Besides sobriety, just to begin doing the things that used to make me happy, peaceful, and all that good stuff that goes along with it. Wishes for Peace in 2012 to everyone.

When I get the "oh no, what do I do now?" syndrome, I hear the "nothing changes if nothing changes" mantra in my head, and so I do something different...paper hats for puppies? Why the heck not? I ate too many chocolate truffles and spent some time on ***** answers.

The funny thing is I suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, yadda yadda yadda then I just crack myself up over a thought. A childhood hero was Jonathon Winters I was a standup comic till I couldn't stand up. My dad who died sober after 65 years of drinking. his final words as we brought him home to pass were Jiggity jiggity home again. I cracked up but pissed off my sisters. I know I know life is serious in a way and I hurt a lot of people but never meant to but I just can't help laughing.

I guess there are times when laughing is out of place, but I have found humor that gotten me through some rough times.. I think finding the humor or ironic things is relaxing. Whatever gets you thorugh the night!
