Need help

I really want to stop drinking. Christmas last night I drank way too much and spent today throwing up, and have a really bad stomach. I'm scared to stop as I don't want to have a fit as I have been told could happen. I don't know where to start.

If "fit" means withdrawal symptoms then you need to check with a doctor before quitting. Withdrawal can be dangerous.

It may be time to involve doctors and allow them to help you. If you are a heavy drinker you need medial assistance to stop safely. It was a great day when I honestly told my doctors about my drinking. They were supportive and ran all the tests I needed to feel safe.
