Dear Alcohol,

Now that our relationship is finally over I have been thinking of all the things we gave each other.

I gave you, in no particular order:

• Time…how many wasted days did I lay in bed because of you?
• My pride
• My youth
• My self-respect
• More money than I know
• A man I truly loved
• Two jobs
• So many Family Holidays and functions that I will never get back
• My Health
• A car
• Music Concerts
• My dignity
• My am biotin
• Phone conversations
• Some really nice jewelry
• Lots of dishes


You gave me:

• Sickness
• Missed time from work
• Disgust from my family
• Sprained ankles
• Blackouts
• Unbelievable headaches
• Horrible complexion and hair
• Debt
• Delinquent bills
• A chaotic house
• The ability to endure abuse
• Extra weight
• Fear
• Self-Loathing
• Impatience
• Embarrassment



I am sure we gave each other so much more but with all this being said, Goodbye for good!!
