I told my ABF I will not talk to him/be around him when he drinks (he is white-knuckling it around me and pretending he doesn't drink when we're not together). Tonight I stuck to it. He called me slurring and I told him I had to go.

I feel ... OK. Peaceful. A little empowered and proud, even. Not long ago, this would have had me in hysterics. Not today. I'm just starting to get my footing with acceptance and detachment, and I have to say this feels much, much better.
