LOVING my new job!!

Hey Folks -

I started my new job yesterday... and it is AMAZING! I couldn't be happier with my decision. I love being out of the house - my new coworkers are incredible. They are so nice, down to earth and just all around good people. The work place is incredible professional, well-managed... exactly the way I was trying to make my business!!

I am in love

There was a wonderful reading in More Language of Letting Go (Melody Beatty) the other day. It talked about how major changes are so transformative. And the part that has stuck with me is that while we are in the midst of it, it seems so hard/confusing - and then one day, we are like "a phoenix rising from the ashes" of our former self! That is me - I finally see the "new" version of me rising from the remnants of my former self. My new life is taking shape - and it is far better than what I could have hoped for.

Thank you all for the continued support!!
Shannon

Yay! I am so happy that this change has been such a pleasant surprise.
You deserve all the best, and it sounds like this job is a part of that.

Yay!

Hey Folks....

Starting my SECOND week of work... and I'm more in love than ever. My first week was just amazing. I felt like a blossoming butterfly - finally crawled out of the cocoon that I had been all those years of working from home!! Getting out of the house (even though it's going to work!!) has been a shot of adrenaline for my recovery.

I feel so strong and empowered to keep walking forward. This is exactly what I needed to do to help me see that I was worth so much more than what my alcoholic marriage was giving me. The next step is getting myself living someplace other than with my STBXAH... there are legal issues that need to be resolved... but now that I have the "work outlet", I'm so much more able to deal with the interim setup!!

For those of you out there struggling... YOU CAN DO THIS!!! It is scary to take the first step. The change is hard but the reward is a life beyond your wildest dreams!!

Hope you all are well!
Shannon

I want it too!!!! They should teach you when you get married about divorcing not about how to make a marriage work. I think many more people would reconsider!

I hope in like 2-3 weeks I will be where you are at!
