I wrote this song about 4 years ago! It has taken me that long to even begin to seek the help I need. I wrote it in about 20 minutes.

Minutes to Hours
The Hours they pass, too slowly,
The minutes, way too fast.
Trying to forget my problems
As I sit here on my ass.
The barstool or the drink
The problem or the think

I am never sure what is worse the problem or the cure.

From here the world looks so clear
Especially when the fog comes so near
Cause the drink, takes away the think

But the minutes and the hours I can escape.
I can live in a world without a cape.
I can be what I want to be.

No fear, No Fail, No Restraint.
Cause I am, only half a man.
Although, the problems, don’t go away,
They do, if only for that day.

I wake to see, another day
The people and the problems, I face.
The blame is mine and mine alone.
It’s those demons inside my head
How do I find the answers
With my mind, or on this seat.

Tomorrow I’ll be prefect, I once heard someone say,
The problem always is, how do I survive today.
No fear, No Fail, No Restraint.
Cause I am, only half a man.
Although, the problems, don’t go away,
They do if only, for that day.
