6 Years Later....

A long way from the kicking screaming broken girl who came in here mad and yelling at you all and ready to end it all, eh.
I've been struggling a bit lately, but just know I need to brush up on some
Me skills.
Recovery is good. It takes some work, and feeling and relationships, and life is hard. Being miserable and not living is easy I guess....... but I know in my heart I'd never go back there. I hated that life so much. I've thought about it a few times, you know when you are hurting so bad, and you just want relief, that sense of peace so bad..... Of course for anyone that has used the thought is going to pop in their head, but it's just a thought......
I like my life, I like to be able to make my own choices.....
Anyway, we do recover... When we get so miserable and hate our lives enough to never want to go back there. Then hopefully we make the choice to get out.... For me I found the love of a bunch of people who helped me pull my way out of hell.......
I haven't been here as much lately but I need to be here right now, so I'll be here checking in more....
I love and miss you all alot!!

Congratulations, Miss Done, 6 years is terrific and so are you.
I've watched you find your balance over the years, and watched you grow, and watched you dance until MY feet hurt, lol, and I'm so darn proud of you I could just bust! I almost feel like your mama here except that would make me old and of course I am not...I am simply "mature".
Just know that wherever you go in life, whatever star shines down on you, we are cheering you on and are always here with hugs and cheesecake and lots of love.
