Nice feeling

Hi to everyone...had the big game day at my house last night (go Tigers!). Felt really good to wake up knowing I didn't drink or smoke.

Well worth it. Hope everyone is hanging in there and take care. to Dee and all of the "counselors"...thanks for helping make our lives a whole lot better!

Good for you Coco,

It's a great to wake up feeling good - last night was a very different "football night" for you...you should be really proud of yourself.

Big hug!

Fun game to watch. Great not to need alcohol to enjoy it!

Always good to wake up without a hangover after having fun with good friends.

I had a really nice day today too and it really struck me how pleasurable life can be now. I feel like I lost that for a long time, just that "natural high" feeling of being happy. I just have a deeper sense of my surroundings now, it's extremely pleasant. Even on bad days I find that it's much more manageable, I'm just more aware that feeling cruddy is a finite thing and it won't last forever.

I'm glad others had a nice day too

Great post Coco.

I'm very grateful for every day I'm sober.

Congratulations, Coco. Waking up sober is something I hadn't done in a long time and I've enjoyed it for 8 days and counting. I'm having to learn how to go out to dinner or watch a game with my husband and family without drinking but I'm taking it one day at a time.
