Guy in town who was very active in the community, early 50's. Funeral home was mobbed. Coached kids in various towns sports. Nice guy. But was also known as a serious drinker. He died the other day from complications that appeared to be alcohol related - internal bleeding that caused a heart attack. Wife, kids. As I saw him in the casket dressed in a town sports shirt, I prayed that as he had enough life insurance to take care of his family. His wife now has no health insurance (she works p/t) and his kids ae heading to college.
