Three weeks today!!
Well today is my third week with no drinking!!
Its been full of emotions, up and down, and am thrilled I found AA, my sponsor and a support network.
I haven't had many cravings but have been collecting tools to combat the ones I do.
Frequently I will recall my last weekend of binging and the shivering, nerve shot mess it turned me into.
Whenever I get complacent past experiences like this keep things in perspective.
I want to say thanks to everyone here for the responses and posts in general.
I have a smartphone and its fantastic to be able to walk around with access to so much good will and recovery in my pocket

Congratulations! I'm on day 3. I almost had some last night because I had a crazy day with a lot of drama regarding my step son, but I did not. I actually did something else instead. I'm playing a tape in my head over and over that says: I will not have a drink today. Good job! I'm going to get there too!
