Book Binge...I Heart Amazon

I decided to go book buying crazy yesterday. My list is what I've accumulated in recommendations since coming back to the SR forums and from stealing TU's recommended reading list on his page. lol I destroyed 6 of my "disease or treatment-based" books yesterday and then bought the following from Amazon to replace them. I'm so excited! I think I'll get Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now on audiobook today too so I have something non-annoying to listen to while driving. I saw the post about that book on here and then saw that something like over 1,200 people rated it on Amazon and it was at over 4.5 stars...that's incredible. Anyway, here's my new library:

"Taming the Feast Beast: How to Recognize the Voice of Fatness and End Your Struggle with Food Forever"
Jack Trimpey

"The Easy Way to Stop Drinking"
Allen Carr

"Worry"
Edward M. Hallowell M.D.

"Under the Influence: A Guide to the Myths and Realities of Alcoholism"
James Robert Milam

"Overcoming Your Alcohol, Drug & Recovery Habits"
James DeSena

"The Introvert Advantage: How to Thrive in an Extrovert World"
Marti Olsen Laney Psy.D.

6 books all for a grand total of $35 and free shipping! So excited!

I have a love affair with Amazon right now myself. I bought 3 Cups of Deceit (about the author of 3 Cups of Tea who pulled a James Fry but worse) and Where Men Win Glory by Jon Krakauer. Then Easy Riders,Raging Bulls and Robert Even's The Kids In the Picture both with their respective DVD's all of the movie stuff was under. Also got Trish Dailton's book Curse in Verse & So Much Worse which is a poety/prose book on Huntington's Disease. Except for the last one, all was covered by Amazon Gift Certificates I was won through an online awards program that I had simply left lying around with everything that was going on in my life at the time. Just now starting to be able to enjoy the fruits of that labor now.
