I wanted to thank everyone for suggesting Al-Anon. I finally went to a meeting tonight (after another day with ABF ended in argument). I boo-hooed during most of it -- the emotion that I always keep bottled up just came pouring out. The folks there made me feel very welcome, safe and understood and gave me lots to think about. A few of them: the three Cs, "One day at a time," "This too shall pass," "It doesn't need to be decided today (if it's not lying on the floor bleeding, it can probably wait!)" and "Things will get better."

There's another meeting there tomorrow morning and it's right by my church, so I'm planning to go!
