Hello everyone. I have had a few short stints in recovery, longest being 17 months. I came to this website trying to figure out once and for all if I am REALLY an alcoholic. Denial is an ugly thing I guess. I just want clarity. Thank you all for being here.

Like Dee said, I think it's more important to decide whether or not drinking is affecting you negatively. If it is, then I think the only thing you can do is quit.
I'm glad you're here, should you decide to try sober life again you will find a lot of support here.
