35 days..
Thanks to 28 days in treatment, 1-2 meetings a day and the grace of God I have 35 days today and no super bad obsessions yet!
I pray every morning and Im just so hopefull. I went on a diet consisting of no sugar so that I can keep craving down! Thanks!

I found the "obsession" (ie thinking about alcohol without an actual physcial craving) took a about 80 days to settle down. I am now 140 days and it is still there but a lot less intense and I have so much more freedom.
Those early days were very intense and at times drove me to distraction. I told myself this was a brave personal adventure and there was no going back. I imagined jumping out of plane without a parachute. I have not hit the ground yet, and I am loving learning how to fly.
