Rain in my Heart Doc on alcholism...
I'm not sure who posted the recommendation for "Rain in my Heart"...I did watch it on Youtube...powerful, sad and true account of how alcohol is the devil.
It is poison to the alcoholic; however, billions of people are able to have a drink or two and be done with it. They don't give it a second thought. Alcohol, or the devil, for that matter, is only as powerful as you allow them to be.

it is a truly haunting documentary. I sought it out in early 2007 thinking if anything would stop me drinking, that was it. And yes, it terrified me. but not enough. I have foggy memories of trying to follow the one woman's drunken ramblings with a scotch (or several hundred) in my hand, weeping while the one guy died, and just sitting horrified at the deathbed scenes of that young lady. Dear God.
Here is the link to part one, then you just look on the side and go to part 2 etc.

I am watching the series and wow , terrifying is all I can say. I have gratitude to have the idea my own drinking must stop while I have some health left. This takes the extra step beyond the google images of all the late stage ends the poison brings.
