I made it.

I am now 4 days past my 2 months. This is the longest I have been sober in 5 years. I was worried about my 2 month mark. I relapsed last time I hit 2 months. Not to pat myself on the back but YEAY ME!!!! I'm going to make it.

Yes, you are going to make it. There is no need to relapse in the milestones. Each time gets easier. I am now 5 months sober and dont' have any more cravings. Time pass quickly. In only a few months, this damn addiction will only be a bad memory.

LPNangel,
The behaviourists around here will tell you that self reward is an essential part of behaviour modification. Take a walk and sit down in a favourite place. Tell yourself that you have done a difficult thing and done it very very well. Then do something nice for yourself, go to a nice restaurant, a short trip with your SO, a mani-pedi, or something like this. You deserve it.

Speaking of rewards, I hope you take a moment to savor the renewed sense of self-esteem and hope. Because for me, those have been the best rewards of all. (And they're free!)
