Prayers Please
Good Morning Everyone,
Can someone please say a prayer for me that I find the strength today to not stop at the store on my way home for more wine? Already this morning I am dealing with a challenging situation with my husband...I really want to make a healthy change. As I sit here this morning, my stomach hurts and is rumbling from drinking so much wine last night...I really need prayers that I can make it through this evening without any wine. Thanks everyone...

Sending prayers your way Angel........drive by that liquor store and re-claim your life. You can do this!! One day at a time. I was in your shoes....you have to want to stop more than you want to drink. Wine is NOT your answer.
Best Wishes To You!

Prayers for you my friend. Also, here's a prayer I found online years ago that I say when things get tough for me.
Let Me See Release From My Addiction
O Lord, with each new day, help me to be strong and continue to trust you.
Bring into my eyes and heart
an honesty that sees my true situation
and finds support in your goodness and guidance.
Let me see release from my addiction
and a renewed joy in living from this day forward.

Praying for you Angels. It sounds like you are ready to take control of your life again. I hope you'll come here this evening and talk to us some more. You can definitely stop the rollercoaster ride and have a new life.
I understand where you are coming from. Day 4 being sober I have these terrible thoughts that pop up in my head regarding my fiance and his past that I should not even worry about because it has nothing to do with me and not being able to pop a vicodin or 4 totally sucks but its great as well. Prayers are sent to you.
