Some of you may be aware that my in-laws are a hot mess. My FIL says that if I stick to the plan to leave my AH this weekend that it will "send him over the edge"....I replied "it's called rock bottom, he needs it". Now I feel like I'm being bullied by these people (his sister included) who I once thought were "on my team".
I know I don't owe them an explanation, but I can't help feeling that I HAVE to get my two cents in....I'm so tired of not standing up for myself with them.
I want to tell them what an A## he can be, how HARD it is to be his wife, and mostly how little HIS happiness matters to me anymore.
The rational side of me says to keep my mouth shut and focus on myself and the kids. All they do is upset me.
I was really hoping that we could actually be friends during this process, he is still the father of my children, as my in-laws are their family. My plan is to stay positive and not let their crappy attitudes rub off on me.
If we can't be friends, that's his choice....and his loss.
Anyway, 4 more days people! FOUR MORE DAYS and I'm OUT!!!!!!
