Divorce court tomorrow
It's been four years of deciding whether to end our 39 yr marriage or keep hoping there was a different ending to our story but as I write this he's going through detox and being so sick I can't keep seeing him this way so tomorrow will begin a new life for me and I pray a new beginning for him as well, the divorce will be final. I've been very blessed with great kids, siblings, and friends to get me to this place of decision but I really would love to have my friends here keep me in your thoughts and prayers as my AH and I move apart.

Maybe after this is over I won't have any more surgeries. The last four years I've had foot, shoulder, cancer and now I'm looking at gallbladder surgery in a couple of weeks, ugh. Stress is as terrible as alcoholism, it really breaks down your immune system, but I'm on my way to recovery and living again!
I'm sending good thoughts your way. Someone at alanon gave me this pearl last week: you've already been through the shitstorm!
It's true for you too- I'm sure you've endured a lot. You were able to hold onto a piece of the true you, the essence of you that knows you deserve a good and peaceful life! The awful decision making part is over. Now it's one foot in front of the other towards your tranquil life.
Many many hugs to you. You are an inspiration. (I'm 16 years in and just filed. I'll be thinking of you for my strength as I go forward).
You will be in my prayers
