hi there
I'm new to this site, and just wanted to say hi. I've had alcohol problems for over 8 years and although sometimes I do well there are bad times. I'm hoping reaching out to people here and hearing stories of success and getting advice will help me to stay sober.

Good for you. You have come to the right place. How long have you been sober so far? I'm at Day 5 this round, but I've started AA for the first time and I feel very strong. What is your support system?

Hi DuChen! It's great you found us. I had alcohol problems at a young age, but refused to admit it. I was able to manage my drinking back then, but over the years my life spun out of control.

Hi Duchen, welcome, I have only been here a few days but cant speak highly enough of the place, a lot of caring people here, and thats really great when you want to get sober.
Please keep us updated on your progress. And I am sure you will hear a lot of success stories here, because the human spirit is the strongest thing around IMHO and can overcome anything.
