I have always had very vivid strange dreams. It matches my mind I guess. These recent dreams are by far the most bizarre. Is this a commen in recovery? I know drinking dreams are. Most of them resemble a Salvador Dali painting. Some are so outrageous that I have woken up laughing. When I go to bed tonight, I am bringing a bag of popcorn.

I have a lot of lucid dreams--I know I'm dreaming and I can adjust the script, gets interesting. I also have regular though vivid dreams. Last night I dreamed I was in high school and was checking into an on campus treatment center--go figure? In 3 months I've only had one drinking dream but it was enough.

I think I didn't dream for years while I was drinking. I remember only the occasional dream. Now it seems almost every night is filled with all sorts of dreams, usually strange ones. The only frustrating thing is mixing up dreams with reality - which I seem to do a lot. Thinking I got in an argument with someone and feeling guilty about it but realizing later it was just a dream, stuff like that.
