I am now 8 days clean and sober, I feel great and I am doing lot's of reading, going to meetings and counselling. I was having some problems with the spiritual aspect of AA, so I decided to contact the pastor who married my wife and I. What a great experience I had.We talked about my history, my alcoholic parents(mom has been sober for almost 23 years ans my father would have been sober for 8 years but past away on x-mas eve of last year, I do not blame my parents for what has happened to me, it is my responsibility and my own actions that brough my here. This man of god has opened my eyes, I am a little closer to my god now and feel stronger then I ever have and for that I am forever greatful.Just wanted people to know if you are having trouble with the whole God thing, open your hearts and mind you will be very surprised in what you feel and see, I am not preaching the bible here I am just saying there is something that is greater then ourselves and that is all you need to believe to start your recovery.keep reading keep loving and most impotantly have respect for yourself, YOU ARE WORTH IT..TRUST GOD CLEAN HOUSE AND TRUST OTHERS
