New to recovery
Hi all!!!!
I am really new to recovery, I currently have 32 days clean today, but I think I am starting to substitute internet shopping for my drug use. I get such a rush with buying stuff off the internet, I dont know what to do, I feel lost and scared, I dont need another addiction to take hold of me. I have enough to deal with.
I could really use some suggestions everyone.

Welcome. Great job on day 32. I am sorry but I have no experience with internet shopping. I try to spend my time on SR when I feel my urges. Lots of wonderful supportive people. Any addiction needs addressing. I find an incredible rush when I work out or take a long fast walk. Try getting off the computer do something physical. Glad you are here

Welcome and congratulations on 32 days! It just gets better and better from here. Something I do with internet shopping is I go ahead and put what I want in my shopping cart and then walk away, especially if it's an expensive item. I make a deal with myself that if in 24hrs I still want that item that much, I will pull the trigger and check out. I still buy a lot of stuff online, but I usually end up talking myself out of something unreasonable. Glad you're here! Keep posting!
