So i thought this wouldnt happen to me no way no how...but last night i got my first drunken dream i was drinking shots of tequila woke up so scared that i relapsed i thought i was dying. Thankfully just a dream but my stomach even hurts?! Day 21 starting out scarily.

Yea I've had one druken dream this recovery (I used to have many). It woke me up and while I was relieved to discover it was only a dream I feared going back to sleep and reentering the dream. I was also left with vague feelings of guilt and remorse. Maybe a good nightmare to have every now and then?

I dreamt I got high and then I woke up and remembered it made me paranoid and didn't "work" the last time I really smoked. Just don't glamorize it!

Maybe it is a good reminder dream. It was just so scary! I was there at the counter with friends seemed so real i could taste the tequila then i woke up abruptly in a cold sweat. Scary stuff

I had one when I dozed off for a hour this morning. I dreamt I woke up from my nap with horrible cravings. So horrible that I called my sponsor. Of coarse nothing goes right in dreams. My sponsor didn't answer. Luckily my dream shifted to some other strange dream that had nothing to do with alcohol. Drinking dreams are normal with us alkies

I have a meeting (1st step) with my sponsor tonight..im really looking forward too! Its so nice to have accountability and so i try to make sure theres always somewhere that i need to show up sober until its too late to drink.
