OT - back home

The great summer adventure has come to a close for this year. It was amazing and inspiring. I've always loved to travel and now that I'm no longer tethered to an alcoholic, I can afford to.

I promised to share pictures, so here they are. We started in Las Vegas. (not my favorite part of the trip, but interesting anyway) The fountains at the Bellagio:

After that Zion National Park. This was my favorite part of the trip. If you like hiking, Zion is the place to go.

The cliffs are awe inspiring.

After saying a fond farewell to Zion, we headed back via the Extraterrestrial Highway in Nevada. The closest public road to the legendary "Area 51."

There is no civilization for miles. It's so dark out there you can see (and photograph) the Milky Way.

It was a wonderful trip and a grand adventure. Now, where will I go next year? Hmmmm.

Breathtaking, thanks for posting your pics. A couple of months ago I went to Vegas, I wanted a picture of the fountains at Bellagio, stood there for 1 hour (had the schedule of the display) never came on, now I have one!

So glad that you enjoyed your trip!
