I think my allergies were caused by alcohol
I used to wake up all congested, wheezing and hacking and coughing up phlem. I figured I just had bad allergies and blamed it on pollen, cotton wood trees, whatever. Since my sobrity my allergies have cleared up--anyone else experience this or did all the cottonwoods die?

I found the same thing, and once I cleaned up my diet all my arthritic aches and pains and stiffness and heartburn and indigestion all magically disappeared.
It's funny what cutting out alcohol, cleaning up my diet and taking a few supplements can do for you. I feel 10-20 years younger.

My allergies cleared up a bunch when I quit drinking the didn't completely disappear but are much better. I also don't buy Tum and Rolaids buy the case anymore, in fact I can't remember the last time I needed one!
