Hello everybody 
Just a quick question, i was at one of my two meetings yesterday and the first of them was the guy responsible for bringing me in to AA . Great friend when we were both running around overqualifing, but even better now cause we are both sober.
Any it was his lead last night and he mentioned ***** ing beer . and it made me laugh cause i had forgot all about doing that, back when we were young.
Just wanted to know who else was a part of such things?
not fimiliar its when you go to the store grab beer and run out screaming ***** without buying.
By the way soberity has been a blast day 20

No, never did that and why would I want to go to jail for stealing a 30 pack and adding to my record with my two DUI's?
Totally done with drinking and all it's consquences. Almost have 2 years sober the end of his month.

i am almost 40 this is 25 years ago, and would not get to jail at 15 for such a thing.

Haha. We called it wahoo-ing beer. And no tallcactus I'm not talking about when I was 35 years old. When I was 14-15 we did it more than once. It makes me nervous just thinking about it. What sucked was we were way too young to even approach the beer cooler, they would be onto us right there. We would "shop" around for a store that had a big (and hot unfortunately) beer display near the door, walk in and get a coke or whatever, and just bam..quickly grab 2 twelvers each and run as fast as possible to a waiting vehicle, usually a pickup we could leap into and speed off. The 7-11 type stores were easy because policy is to not try to chase but once we made the mistake of wahoo-ing from a privately owned corner store and got chased with baseball bats. I almost got what I deserved, a good beating, but didn't. Those were different times.
